The Security Intelligence Specialist, assigned to a specific client, will be assigned to the North and Central America’s Security Operations Center (SOC). This role performs a variety of security and intelligence functions including physical security, travel risk and crisis management, and intelligence analysis at both a tactical and strategic level. Within the broader Corporate Security team, the Specialist serves as an ambassador by demonstrating exceptional customer service and business partnering skills.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Provide daily reporting on regional or global events such as political, social, or economic that could impact the client's security posture within North and Central Americas (NCA).
  • Conduct all-source collection and research, analyze, evaluate, and integrate data from multiple sources,
  • identify intelligence gaps, and specify collection requirements to produce assessments and recommendations.
  • Assist with threat review, classification and prioritization of major events and prepare assessments.
  • Support investigations and operations analysis including social media.
  • Support travel security programs including assisting with the preparation and executive protection and other
  • security transportation missions while providing travel threat assessments and updates as required.
  • Utilize the video management system to view and review video imagery.
  • Grant, delete, and modify access permissions through the enterprise-access control system.
  • Conduct tasks related to the Everbridge emergency/crisis communication program.
  • Collaborate with NCA’s cybersecurity team to support monitoring of potential network breaches.
  • Prepare analyses, assessments, or other products by applying expert judgment and specialized experience in interpreting information and making decisions.
  • Prepare assessments on projects, studies, and analyses used to support mid/high-level managers in decision making.
  • Extract essential information and analysis from investigations and intelligence products and synthesize the information into actionable reports.
  • All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, intelligence studies, political science, international relations, business, or related field or one to three years of experience within a military, government, or corporate security environment. 

 

  • Knowledge of Dataminr, LexisNexis, Seerist Core, International SOS, Avigilon, and RS2 platforms, preferred.
  • Bilingual language skills; English and Spanish, preferred.
  • Understanding of research methodologies, OSINT, and social media sources.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work under time pressures and adjusted schedules.
  • Analytical expertise to accurately draw conclusions by synthesizing raw data and information from multiple, unrelated sources into a finished comprehensive product.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Time management skills.
  • Able to adapt quickly as the external environment and organization evolve.
  • Serve as a positive team member.
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office.

Working Conditions:
