The Program Manager- Safety & Security, assigned to one of Pinkerton’s clients, will assist in the development and maintenance of policies, training completion and documentation, and security and safety global onboarding. The Manager assists in project management through collaborative interaction with key stakeholders while ensuring completion of deliverables and alignment with goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, post orders, system guides, and other reference documentation in partnership with operations in alignment with taxonomy and content standards.
  • Develop and maintain training one pagers, slide decks, exercises and other multimedia products that drive process adoption and improve operational readiness.
  • Support the development, maintenance, and execution of a global onboarding program for safety and security.
  • Conduct routine onboarding and training for safety and security personnel.
  • Gather requirements in the design, development, and maintenance of program and project charters.
  • Track, monitor, and report the status of assigned projects and tasks.
  • Identify blockers and escalate to applicable stakeholders.
  • Schedule and facilitate project meetings and keep minutes.
  • Conduct routine audits of documentation, training, and system-related products and services.
  • Establish strong stakeholder relationships with key stakeholders and maintain alignment with departmental goals and objectives.
  • Provide programmatic support to security and safety and other cross functional teams to meet departmental goals and objectives.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor for security and safety topics.
  • All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in security management, risk management, or a related field and a minimum of five years within a global security organization. Document management, change control, audits, Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program, and Federal Emergency Management Agency’s National Incident Management System fundamental incident command principles experience.

 

  • Knowledge of security industry standards, frameworks, systems, and technology.
  • Professional certifications, preferred.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Attentive to detail and committed to effective follow-up.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Able to interact and collaborate effectively at all levels of an organization.
  • Able to work independently with little supervision.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Serve as an effective team leader.
  • Computer skills; Microsoft Office and Smartsheet.

Working Conditions:
