The Lead Intelligence Analyst, Americas, assigned to one of Pinkerton’s global pharmaceutical clients, will play a pivotal role in providing best in class analytical products and expertise to help protect our client’s people, assets, supply chain, and reputation. The primary objective is to enhance our client's security operations and strategic objectives by gathering, analysing, and disseminating risk intelligence as part of a global team of specialists.

 

Responsibilities

  • Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Intelligence Gathering and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of geopolitical, economic, environmental, and security-related risks affecting the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Monitor global events and trends to assess their impact on the client's regional operations. Leverage a range of open and closed information sources to provide actionable intelligence to multiple stakeholders.
  • Reporting and Communication: Produce detailed risk assessment reports, briefing notes, and presentations tailored to various stakeholders.
  • Communicate complex risk scenarios effectively to non-specialist audiences within the client organization.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate information flow and alignment of risk management strategies. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management by providing timely intelligence updates.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry best practices in risk intelligence and apply innovative approaches to enhance analytical capabilities.
  • Contribute to the development of tools and methodologies for improved risk assessment processes.
  • Under the supervision and direction of the Intelligence Senior Manager, supervise and mentor a team of intelligence analysts, overseeing daily workflows, performance, workload prioritization, and professional development.
  • All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Security Studies, Political Science, or related field. A Master’s degree is preferred. Proven experience in risk intelligence analysis within the pharmaceutical or related industries or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.

 

  • Strong communication skills with a comprehensive level in the English language, written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Previous supervisor responsibilities would be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in using intelligence analysis tools and software.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Multilingual capabilities would be an added advantage.
  • Have an ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports, independent of direction, where necessary.
  • Maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.
  • Attentive to detail and accuracy.
  • Serve as an effective team member, supervisor, and mentor.
  • Effective independent judgment and decision-making ability.
  • Able to carry out responsibilities with little supervision.
  • Client-oriented and results-driven.
  • Able to multitask and organize workload for effective implementation.
